HEARTBEAT-NI AT STORMONT RECEPTION (2011)
HEARTBEAT-NI joined other local charities at a reception in The Long Gallery, Stormont, to gain recognition of their work. The event was organised by the Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland and Social Development Minister Alex Atwood hosted the reception.

CHEQUE PRESENTATION TO CLARK CLINIC (2011)
AS A RESULT of a very successful Santa run in Lurgan Park a cheque was presented to Dr. Brian Craig, consultant paediatric cardiologist at Clark Clinic, Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children.

JOINT SANTA RUN IN LURGAN PARK (2011)
HEARTBEAT-NI together with CHD-NI jointly organised a Santa run/walk in Lurgan Park in the run up to Christmas. Over 80 Santas took part, some running and a lot walking, but it was a great day out and all participants enjoyed the event.
Clark Clinic was also a winner with all proceeds handed over to Dr. Brian Craig in the ward shortly before Christmas.

FAMILY FUN DAY OUT AT W5 (2010)
HEARTBEAT-NI and CHD-NI held a joint fun day out at W5 at The Odyssey, Belfast, and everyone had a great time. The photos show the families as they got together for refreshments and a chat. New friendships were made and in many cases it was catch-up time with old friends.
ANNALONG COUPLE'S GENEROUS GESTURE (2010)
ANNALONG couple, David and Lily McKnight recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family get-together and barbecue. Instead of presents David and Lily decided to get donations in lieu and very generously presented them to Heartbeat-Ni.

SANTA WALK/RUN IN LURGAN PARK (2010)
HEARTBEAT-NI together with our friends in CHD-NI are holding a Santa Run/Walk in Lurgan Park on Sunday 5 December to raise awareness of congenital heart disease and acquired heart disease in children.
The Santa suits are free and you get to keep them - how's that for starters! Registration fee is £20 and opens at 10.15 am with the walk/run starting at 11 am.

SPONSORED WALK IN TOLLYMORE (2010)
CHERYL McGRATH and friends braved the elements and took part in a sponsored walk in Tollymore Forest Park, Newcastle, to raise funds for Heartbeat-Ni. Little Carly was there of course and thoroughly enjoyed the walk - although she may have been bored in the middle as she had a little nap!
There were smiling faces all round at the end and the heavy rain forecast thankfully never materialised. The photo shows the hardy souls as they get ready to set off.
